Terms of Use

Last Updated: October 26, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the **DSAR Helper** service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms govern your access to and use of all content, products, and services available at the DSAR Helper website (the "Website"). If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Access and Use of Service

DSAR Helper grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service strictly in accordance with these Terms and solely for the business purpose of managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs). You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

A. User Obligations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to: (i) use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; (ii) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems; (iii) reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service.

3. Payments and Subscription (Stripe)

Access to the full, unlimited features of the Service requires a paid subscription, processed through a third-party payment provider, Stripe. All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically, and charges will be billed monthly unless canceled via the customer portal. Refunds are not provided for partial months of service.

The free tier is limited to **3 DSARs** and includes a watermark on generated PDFs. Upgrading removes the usage limit and the watermark.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of [Company Name Placeholder] and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries.

5. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

DSAR Helper is provided "as is" and makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or compliance capability of the generated documents. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DSAR Helper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of **England and Wales**, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
